She started blogging as a creative outlet after she finished college in 2010.

She launched her own travel app also called With Love From Kat, which is an extension of her blog and helps offer suggestions for users while traveling.

She's based in New York, where she also attended college for design school. She married Thomas Jamieson in June 2021.

She and Julie Engel are both style bloggers who were featured in The Wall Street Journal article titled How Style Bloggers Earn Sale Commissions.
