Actress and writer known for a variety of roles including the film You're Next as well as her recurring role in the Netflix original series House of Cards . She has appeared in more than 40 episodes of television throughout her ongoing career.

She has a BFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She then studied acting for four years at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.

In 2016, Rolling Stone referred to her as the Meryl Streep of the micro-budget film after a premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2016, she played Marty in the indie film Buster's Mal Heart.

She was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey.

As an actress in the series House of Cards, she stars alongside Kevin Spacey , Robin Wright , and Michael Kelly .
