ABOUT KATE WILHELM
American fiction writer who is best known for her Barbara Holloway mystery series, as well as for her Constance and Charlie novels. She also published such novels as More Bitter Than Death and The Clone.
She published her first short story, "The Pint-Size Genie," in 1956.
She received both the Nebula Award and the Hugo Award.
She was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She later married Damon Knight, who passed away in 2002.
She and David Brin were both recipients of the Nebula Award.
