Finalist on the seventh series of The X Factor (UK) who became a target of popular outrage for her supposed lack of talent and drama queen antics.

Prior to The X Factor, she formed the band Red Velvet Lovers in 2011.

She became a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother 18, where she finished 8th.

In September of 2012 she married male model Brad Alphonso in a secret ceremony; they split less than two months later. She was then married to comedian Brian Moote from 2015 until 2017. She welcomed a son named Hudson with Andy Speer in July 2018.

She has collaborated with an unnamed producer who has also worked with Lady Gaga .
