He and his brothers were raised by mother Deb Antney in New York City.
He died of a self-inflicted gunshot.
He and Waka had another brother who died in a car accident in 2000. Kayo is survived by a daughter named Ittila.
His brother Waka was engaged to Tammy Rivera at the time of his death.
