ABOUT KC JONES
Hall of Fame point guard who won eight NBA Championships in nine years with the Boston Celtics . After his time on the team, he went on to coach a number of teams. One of these was the Detroit Pistons as an assistant coach.
He teamed up with Bill Russell to win two NCAA Championships with the University of San Francisco.
He became a head coach after retiring and led the Celtics to NBA Championships in 1984 and 1986. The last team he coached was the New England Blizzard from 1997 to 1998.
He had six kids with his first wife before marrying again in 1980 to his second wife Ellen.
He was teammates with Bob Cousy on the Celtics.
