Japanese rock singer famous for her work with the band Globe . Besides working with the band Globe, she has led a successful solo career.
She formed the band Globe in 1995.
Globes debut album in 1996 sold 4 million copies. In 1998 the band won the grand prix award at the 40th Japan Record Awards.
She was born in Japan.
She was briefly married to Tetsuya Komuro .
