In March 2019, she made her YouTube debut with a clip titled DAY 1 | TRIP TO CUBA.

Her 2020 video "My REAL School Morning Routine" topped 2 million views in one month. She has also posted a number of selfies and outfit photos for her 30,000 followers on her kellymichalita Instagram page.

She was born and raised in Canada. In February 2021, she released a YouTube video about spending 24 hours in her parents' closet.
