ABOUT KENNETH WATSON
Most well known for his portrayal of Brian Blair in the Scottish soap opera High Road, he is also remembered for his recurring roles as Ralph Lancaster and Phil Fletcher on the respective soap operas Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
He made his screen acting debut in the 1956 made-for-TV movie Kidnapped. Early in his career, he appeared in eighteen episodes of Dixon of Dock Green, thirteen episodes of Emergency-Ward 10 and seven episodes of Formula for Danger.
He made his final television appearance, in an episode of The Bill, just two years before his death from pancreatic cancer.
He was born and raised in London, England. With his wife, Joan, he raised children named Jamie and Kate.
He appeared with Patrick Troughton in three 1968 episodes of the popular series Doctor Who.
