Reformed evangelical author and theologian who has served as the senior pastor at Christ Covenant Church, in Matthews, North Carolina. He was previously a pastor at University Reformed Church in East Lansing, Michigan.
He graduated summa cum laude from Hope College in 1999.
He has authored over 20 books including 2019's Grace Defined and Defended: What a 400-Year-Old Confession Teaches Us about Sin, Salvation, and the Sovereignty of God.
His wife's name is Trisha. He has children named Ian, Mary, Paul, Jacob, Elizabeth and Benjamin. His parents Lee and Sheri worked for an international media ministry.
