ABOUT KEVIN SMART

Former defender who played for Plymouth F.C. in League Two and Wigan Athletic F.C. in The Championship.

His youth career began with Plymouth Argyle.  He knew early on soccer was his top sport.

He later played non-league soccer for Folkestone and Hythe Town.

After his playing career was over, he moved to Dover with his family.

He hailed from Newcastle, which is where comedic actor Rowan Atkinson grew up and attended college.
