Makeup artist and special effects creator best known for his work on "Tales from the Crypt" and the "Freddy Krueger" films.
He started his own special effects production company, Kevin Yagher Productions, Inc.
He created special effects for "Child's Play" and also designed the infamous Chucky doll.
He married Catherine Hicks in 1990.
He worked on Paul Verhoeven 's sci-fi hit "Starship Troopers," which was based on a novel by Robert Heinlein.
