ABOUT KI-JANA HOEVER

Defender who has gained fame for his play for Liverpool, with whom he debuted in the FA Cup in January 2019. Upon his debut, he became the then-youngest ever Liverpool player to earn a cap in the FA Cup.

He began his youth soccer career playing in AZ Alkmaar's youth academy. He later moved to Ajax in 2014.

He signed with Liverpool in 2018, with whom he made his debut in their youth academy with the U-18 squad in September 2018. He has also earned multiple caps for Netherland's youth sides, and scored 3 goals in his first 5 games for their U-17 squad.

He was originally born and raised in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

He was described by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as a joy to watch upon his signing in 2018.
