American singer who had a breakout 2019 after joining the NBC reality competition series The Voice . Some of the songs she sang on the show include TLC 's "Waterfalls" and Salt-N-Pepa 's "Whatta Man."
She played saxophone in high school and at the Berklee College of Music.
She began performing with an R&B/rap-focused cover band called Legends of Summer.
Her parents encouraged her to have a career in music. She posted a throwback Instagram photo with her brother Ryne in May 2019.
She was coached by Blake Shelton during her time on The Voice.
