He played football as a teenager. Six months after graduating high school, his girlfriend got pregnant.
He used his high school graduation gift money to record music. In 2019, he released his debut album, Good Ones Never Last. He has headlined shows around the United States.
He met his wife, Jillian, when they were both in third grade. He has daughters named Josie and Charlee. He was 14 when his father died of brain cancer.
He was inspired by artists including Waylon Jennings and Cross Canadian Ragweed.
