ABOUT KRISTIAN WELCH

Professional linebacker and special teams member that was originally signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He previously played college football at the University of Iowa . While at Iowa, he was twice named a member of the All-Big Ten Academic team.

He played both linebacker and running back as a high school student at Iola-Scandinavia High School. In addition to football, he also played basketball in high school.

He made his official NFL debut playing against the Philadelphia Eagles during week six of the 2020 regular season. He collected one tackle in a 30-28 Ravens win.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Iola, Wisconsin. He is the son of Tim and Mary Welch.

He was college teammates with Tristan Wirfs at the University of Iowa.
