ABOUT KUMAR VISHWAS

Indian poet and politician whose notable works include Ek Pagli Ladki Ke Bin, Phir Meri Yaad, and the musical poetry series Tarpan. He has taught Hindi literature at the college level. In the early 2010s, he was a founding member of the Aam Aadmi Party.

He studied engineering before deciding to pursue a PhD in Hindi literature.

He has appeared as a guest judge on Indian Idol . He posts photos and video clips of his public appearances on his kumarvishwas Instagram account, where he has earned more than 3.8 million followers.

He and his wife Manju Sharma have two daughters together.

He and Manoj Bajpai appeared as guests on a September 2019 episode of The Kapil Sharma Show.
