ABOUT LADY TABARES
Colombian actress who was hailed as an up-and-coming star for her role as Mónica in the 1998 drama La Vendedora de Rosas. Her rise was short-lived, as she was later sentenced to twelve years in prison for her role in the 2002 murder of a taxi driver.
She was raised in an orphanage after being abandoned by her family. As a child, she made a living by selling roses on the street.
She received the Best Actress prize at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Bratislava for her role in La Vendedora de Rosas.
She has sons named Julian and Fernando.
She co-starred with Catherine Siachoque in a television production of The War of the Roses.
