ABOUT LADY ZAMAR
South African singer-songwriter known for her pop music which incorporates house and dance influences. She was a guest judge on Idols South Africa in 2019. Her lady_zamar Instagram, where she posts professional and life updates, has amassed over 1.4 million followers.
She got her start in the industry in duo with singer Junior Taurus. Their first album, Cotton Candy, was nominated for Duo/Group of the Year and Best Dance Album at the South African Music Awards in 2015.
She released King Zamar, her first solo album, in March 2017. By June 2019, it was certified double platinum. Popular songs of hers include "Collide", "Love Is Blind", and "My Baby".
She was born and raised in Thembisa, South Africa.
In 2018, she performed at a National Women's Day concert alongside Sho Madjozi .
