ABOUT LANA MURAKAMI

Pop singer, songwriter, and dancer who grew to fame as a member of iDOL Street's street-sei group, w-Street OSAKA. She was also a member of the iDOL Street group GEM from 2013 until it was disbanded in 2018, at which point she commenced her career as a solo artist. In 2023, she released her debut album as a solo artist, entitled "LANA," and commenced her Tomeihan Tour.

She began studying dance and singing when she was 4 years old and participated in numerous dance and modeling competitions. In 2011, she was chosen to join the Avex Artist Academy group Tip-Lip, although it disbanded only 6 months later.

A dance video she shared to her lanamurakami TikTok account on May 19, 2023, earned more than 6 million views less than 2 weeks after it was posted.

She was married to the founding member of the band This Very Day and model, Yuchaso Prince. Together, they had a daughter named Rai-chan, however, she raised their daughter as a single mother.

She posts daily dance videos to her murakami_lana Instagram account, using the songs of musical artists such as Meghan Trainor , Jisoo , NCT , and Charlie Puth .
