ABOUT LAURA PRITCHETT
American writer who is known as the author of five literary novels and one book of nonfiction. Her first novel "Hell's Bottom, Colorado" won the PEN USA Award for Fiction and the Milkweed National Fiction Prize.
She graduated with an MFA in Nature Writing from Western Colorado University. She also has a PhD in English with an emphasis in Contemporary American Literature and Creative Writing from Purdue University .
She won the WILLA Literary Award for her book "Sky Bridge." She posts nature content and career updates on her laurapritchettauthor Instagram page.
She grew up on a small ranch in northern Colorado. She and her husband have a son and a daughter.
She and Colleen Hoover are both novelists from the United States.
