Film and television actress who had 2012 movie roles in Ted and This Means War. She also appeared in the Netflix adaptation of the Jonathan Maberry book series V Wars.

Growing up she played football, karate, basketball, tennis, gymnastics and baseball. She had her first major acting role as a child on the television series, Are You Afraid of the Dark?

She had her breakout television role as Supergirl on the long-running series Smallville.

In 2014, she got engaged to Oliver Trevena, but the two split before they married. She was previously in a relationship with Corey Sevier . She was nominated for Best Performance in a TV Movie at the Young Artists Awards in 2001 and Best actress in a TV series broadcast in the U.S. at the Golden Maple Awards in 2016.

She acted alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the 2007 thriller The Lookout.
