ABOUT LAWRENCE W. GREEN
Public health education specialist. He has been on the full-time public health and medical faculties at UC Berkeley , Johns Hopkins University , Harvard University , University of Texas and University of British Columbia .
He graduated from UC Berkeley in 1962.
He has received two of the American Public Health Association's highest awards, the Distinguished Career Award and Award of Excellence.
His wife's name is Dr. Judith M. Ottoson.
He was the first Director of the federal Office of Health Promotion, under Jimmy Carter 's administration.
