Utility soccer player who joined the Glasgow Rangers in 2007 and played on Scotland's national team between 2004 and 2010.

He was in the Rangers' youth system before moving to Motherwell in 1995.

He signed with Wigan Athletic for a club record £700,000, in the hopes he could take them up from their third tier.

He grew up in Bellshill, Scotland.
