ABOUT LEE SUNG-JAE

South Korean actor who first gained the notice of audiences for his work on several television shows, including The Love of Two Women and Yesterday. He began his film career with a role in the 1998 romantic comedy Art Museum by the Zoo. More recently, he appeared in Kim Ki-duk 's 2018 drama Human, Space, Time and Human, as well as the 2022 Netflix action thriller Carter.

He studied theater and film at Dongguk University.

His performance in Art Museum by the Zoo earned him a Best New Actor award at the 20th Blue Dragon Film Awards. The following year, he won the Popularity Award at the 36th Baeksang Arts Awards for his performance in the crime-comedy film Attack the Gas Station!

He is from Seoul, South Korea.

He shared the screen with Mina Fujii in Human, Space, Time and Human.
