She worked as a hair stylist while attending University of California, Santa Barbara.
She was co-owner and stylist of the hair salon Parlour from 2005 to 2012.
She was the daughter of a hairstylist and started working at her mother's salon at 14. She finished cosmetology school by the time she graduated high school.
She styled Booboo Stewart's hair for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse premiere.
