ABOUT LELAND BERNARD MARTIN

American actor who is best recognized for his recurring television role as Ari Thomas on the BET series Boomerang. He is also known for his feature film appearances and starred as Max in the 2016 film A Cinderella Christmas and as Jason in the 2014 film 1864.

He originally earned his degree in business and intended on becoming a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. He was introduced to acting when he came across a sign that read "casting" on the window of a shop. He started taking classes and made his television debut in 2008 as a Courtroom Officer in the series The Young and the Restless .

In addition to acting, he is also a writer and producer and is credited with having done both on an episode of the television series Londyn in 2018.

He shared a photo with his brother, grandmother, and mother to his Instagram in January of 2014.

He starred alongside Lala Milan and Tequan Richmond in the Halle Berry produced series Boomerang.
