ABOUT LENNY JOHNROSE
He was known best as a defensive midfielder, this English soccer star played for the Bury, Swansea City, Hartlepool United, and Burnley football clubs. Over the course of his career, he scored fifty goals.
He began his career as a trainee with the Blackburn Rovers. In the early 1990s, he also briefly played for Preston North End.
After retiring from professional soccer, he became a teacher at St. Silas CE Primary School in Blackburn, England.
During his years as a professional footballer, he welcomed daughters named Chanel and Elizabeth.
He and goalkeeper Scott Flinders both played for Hartlepool United.
