Brazilian singer and songwriter who first rose to fame in 2003 for the release of her debut single "Garotas Choram Mais." She followed in 2004 with her self-titled album Liah.

She took an interest in music from an early age and by twelve was performing at her first music festival.

In 2012, she competed on The Voice Brazil.

Her birth name is Eliane Soares da Silva. She was born in Tucuruí, Brazil.

Both she and Sandy are well known Brazilian-born pop singers.
