Liam Hoekstra

ABOUT LIAM HOEKSTRA

Nicknamed the World's Strongest Toddler as a child, he rose to fame appearing on the TLC documentary Abnormal People. Born with a rare condition called Myostatin deficiency, his body builds muscle fast and inhibits body fat.

The first appearance of his unique strength was at only five months old when he performed an iron cross. Not long after, he began taking classes at Cassell Gymnastics & Dance.

In his free time, he played hockey for his local kids team Muskegon Chiefs.

He was adopted by Dana & Neil Hoekstra in 2005 after he was given up by his biological mother who worried about his medical conditions.

Both he and Nikola Szafeczka rose to fame as children.
