ABOUT LIAM PALMER

English soccer player best known for his years with Sheffield Wednesday, where he was a League One runner-up in 2011-12. He began representing Scotland at the Under-19 level in 2010.

He was born in Worksop, England and began his career with Sheffield Wednesday in 2009.

He was named Sheffield Wednesday Player of the Year for the 2013-14 season.

His first child, Aubrey, was born in 2014.

He has been teammates with goalkeeper Chris Kirkland at Sheffield Wednesday.
