ABOUT LIAM RUSH

Wingr whose career took off when he was voted the Australian NBL's Most Improved Player in 2006-07 while playing for the West Sydney Razorbacks.

He began his professional career with the Perth Wildcats in the 2003-04 season.

He played for Australia in the 2009 Stankovic Cup, where he earned a gold medal.

He married Amy Rush, and had his first child, Layla, in December, 2011.

He and NBA center Andrew Bogut both represented Australia in international competition.
