Television actress who is best known for her roles in the telenovelas Páginas da Vida, Edge of Desire, and Viver a Vida. She has also appeared in All the Women in the World and Lady Revolution.
She began her acting career in theatre. In 1981, she made her television debut in the telenovela Os Adolescentes.
She has been nominated for Best Actress at the International Emmy Awards twice.
She married Iwan Figueiredo in 1994. Together they have a daughter named Giulia Bertolli.
She starred alongside Alexandre Nero in the soap opera Empire.
