ABOUT LILLI PROMET
Estonian writer who rose to prominence during the second half of the Twentieth Century. Her literary works include Meesteta Kula and A Summer's Painting and Other Stories.
She graduated from Estonia's State Industrial Art School in 1940. She later worked as a journalist in Tallinn, Estonia.
She was a member of the Communist Party during the Soviet occupation of Estonia in the 1960s.
Her father, Aleksander Promet, was a painter.
She was born in the same country as fellow writer Ernst Enno .
