ABOUT LINWOOD BOOMER
Creator of the Fox network sitcom Malcolm in the Middle who was a child actor, playing Adam Kendall, on the television series, Little House on the Prairie .
He produced the NBC series, Silver Spoons and Night Court, as well as the less successful adaptation of the British sci-fi series, Red Dwarf.
His Malcolm in the Middle production role was first a mid-season replacement, but he found it an immediate fit for him with its edgy humor and still realistic portrayals of family life.
He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the third of four children.
Bryan Cranston , who would later achieve even more fame as the lead of the series, Breaking Bad , starred as the dim-witted father on his produced Malcolm in the Middle.
