ABOUT LISA NICOLE CARSON
Best known for her roles on the television series Ally McBeal (as Renee Raddick) and ER (as Carla Reece), she also appeared in such 1990s films as Devil in a Blue Dress and Jason's Lyric.
After performing in several Negro Ensemble Company (New York) stage productions, she made her television debut in a 1991 episode of Law & Order.
She reprised her Ally McBeal prosecutor character in a 2012 episode of the NBC series Harry's Law.
The daughter of a university professor and a primary school teacher, she was raised in New York, New York and Gainesville, Florida.
She shared the screen with Samuel L. Jackson in the 1997 film Eve's Bayou.
