ABOUT LISA GRAFF
Children's author known for the books Lost in the Sun and A Tangle of Knots. She also writes books for teenagers under the name Isla Neal.
She studied undergraduate at UCLA and earned a master's degree in creative writing for Children from The New School. She spent five years as an editor prior to writing full-time.
She wrote her first story when she was eight-years-old, the end result of her trying to cure her boredom.
She grew up in Big Bear, California with an older brother.
Although she's known for her children's books, she, like Avi , has written for teens under a pseudonym.
