ABOUT LISA OZ

An author of books on health and relationships, she is best known for her New York Times bestselling book series, You: The Owner’s Manual. She is also known for being the wife of TV's Dr. Oz and a co-host on her husband's television program.

She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1985 and subsequently attended Columbia University's Union Theological Seminary. She later trained as a Reiki master.

She had her own show on Oprah Radio and also appeared as a regular guest on the Fox 5 TV show, Good Day New York.

She was born in Philadelphia to a heart surgeon father. She later had four children with her husband, Mehmet Oz .

Oprah Winfrey launched her husband, Mehmet Oz, into television stardom.
