Singer best known as a vocalist for the long-running Mexican band La Arrolladora Banda El Limón . The band itself began activity in 1965, though he joined the lineup much later.

He opened his Twitter in July 2009 with the tweet "Getting ready to go to sleep."

While with La Original Banda El Limon, he's witness two Latin Grammy's given to the band, including the Best Regional Mexican Song in 2012.

He was born in California but raised in Texas. He began dating Chiquis Rivera in April 2014 and in June 2019, they got married. The couple later divorced on September 17, 2020.

He dated fellow singer Jenni Rivera 's eldest daughter.
