ABOUT LORINC SZABO
Hungarian poet and translator known for A Satan Muremekei (Masterpieces of Satan), Regen es most (Then and Now), and other works. He also published a book of sonnets entitled The 26th Year.
He began writing for Az Est, a Budapest literary publication, in 1921.
He was a member of the European Writers' League, an organization that had been founded by infamous Nazi leader Joseph Goebbels .
He married Klara Mikes in 1921 and had two children. Later, he had a long-term relationship with Erzsebet Korzati that lasted until Korzati's 1950 suicide.
He translated Samuel Taylor Coleridge 's famous Kubla Khan into Hungarian.
