ABOUT LOTTA SCHELIN

Swedish striker who has represented Sweden at soccer's most high-profile events, including the Summer Olympics and FIFA Women's World Cup. She received the Diamond Ball award as Sweden's best female soccer player five times from 2006 to 2014.

She excelled in sports like snowboarding, table tennis and track and field.

In October 2014, she scored a national record 73rd goal for Sweden.

Her older sister is soccer player Camilla Schelin, with whom she was teammates at Kallereds SK.

She played with fellow Swede Sara Larsson at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup.
