Lubomir Visnovsky
ABOUT LUBOMIR VISNOVSKY
Defender who joined the New York Islanders in 2012 after spending three years with the Anaheim Ducks, two years with the Edmonton Oilers and six years with the Los Angeles Kings.
He first played professionally in Slovakia with HC Slovan Bratislava in 1994.
He was selected to his first NHL All-Star game in 2007 as a member of the Kings.
He was born in Topocany, Czechoslovakia.
He became teammates with John Tavares on the Islanders in 2012.
