ABOUT LUCKY ALI
Indian singer-songwriter famous for wildly popular songs like "O Sanam." As a playback singer, he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for his work on the film Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai.
He was born in Mumbai and released his award-winning debut album, Sunoh, in 1996.
He branched out into film acting in the 70's and 80's. In 1985, he took a long hiatus from acting before returning in 2002 with Sur-The Melody of Life.
His father is popular Bollywood entertainer Mehmood Ali. His aunt, Meena Kumari , is considered one of the greatest Indian actresses.
He received much acclaim for his playback singing in director Hrithik Roshan 's debut film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.
