English actress who played Katy Harris on the popular soap opera Coronation Street. In 2006, she began a six-year run on Wild at Heart.
She studied at Garforth Community College in Leeds, England.
Her brother played rugby for the Castleford Tigers.
She married her Coronation Street co-star, Alan Halsall , in 2009. The couple welcomed a daughter in 2013.
She and actress Amanda Holden both appeared in the ITV series Wild at Heart.
