British television and film actress who is most recognized for her role as Rachel Rattigan in the 1990's drama series Revelations. She has also gained recognition for her roles in Doctor Who , The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Coldfeet. She is the daughter of Robert Robinson .
She has been acting professionally since 1990. She received her first role as Deb in the show Clarissa.
She acted in nearly every episode of Revelations first season. She appeared in 24 of the show's first 26 episodes.
She is a native of London, England. She lives with her husband, Nicholas Murchie. They were married in 1999.
She has acted alongside James Nesbitt and Hermione Norris .
