ABOUT LUIS GIL

American midfielder who began his MLS career with Real Salt Lake in 2010. He became a member of the US national team in 2014.

He played on the United States U17 team from 2008 to 2009.

He scored his first career MLS goal on August 6, 2011 against the New York Red Bulls.

He was born to Auriliano Gil and Darlene Morgan.

He entered the MLS the same year as French star Thierry Henry .
