ABOUT LUKA ZAHOVIC

Slovenian soccer player who began playing as a striker for Maribor in the Slovenian PrvaLiga in 2013. Since joining the team, he has won Slovenian Championship, Slovenian Cup and Slovenian Supercup titles.

He began playing youth soccer for SL Benfica in 2001, when he was 6 years old.

He was PrvaLiga's top goal-scorer for the 2014-15 season and was nominated for the Golden Boy award.

His father Zlatko Zahovic was the all-time leading goal-scorer in the Slovenian national team's history.

He and Haris Vuckic have both played for the Slovenian national team.
