Lusia Harris
ABOUT LUSIA HARRIS
One of the only female basketball players who appeared in the NBA. She was drafted by the New Orleans Jazz in 1977.She represented the United States' national team and won the silver medal in the 1976 Olympic Games.
She was the fourth of five daughters and the tenth of eleven children in her family. She played college basketball at Delta State University.
She competed for the Houston Angels of the Women's Professional Basketball League.
She married George E. Stewart on February 4, 1977. They had four children together.
She was teammates with Ann Meyers .
