Family member who is the wife of reality alum, Trace Bates. He was on the show, Bringing Up Bates . On her Trace & Lydia YouTube channel, she has 90,000 subscribers who can see her daily vlogs, travel, and family life.

She was born in Germany, but moved to the United States in 2008 after her parents were being persecuted for homeschooling their children, which is not legal in Germany. Her family sought asylum in the United States based on religious freedom.

She got married at Colley Hill Farm in Jefferson City, Tennessee. The wedding had around 350 guests and her first kiss with her husband was on the chapel's alter.

Her parents are Uwe and Hannelore Romeike. Her siblings are Daniel, Joshua, Christian, Damaris, Sarah, and Rebecca. She is married to Trace Bates, and they have two children, Ryker and Kaia.

She met her husband after being set up by his sister Josie Bates .
