ABOUT LYDIA WILLIAMS

Goalkeeper who was named Goalkeeper of the Year for the 2016 to 2017 season in the W-League. She joined the Seattle Reign FC in 2017 and went on loan to Melbourne City for the 2017 to 2018 season.

She played for Tuggeranong, Woden, and AIS during her youth career.

She represented Australia during the 2006 AFC Women's Asian Cup and the 2006 FIFA World Under 20 Women's Championship. She has over 70,000 followers on her lydsaussie13 Instagram account. She was raised in a mixed Aboriginal and American household. She is of Indigenous Australian descent. Her full name is Lydia Grace Yilkari Williams.
